CALEDONIA—The OPP urges everyone to be aware of their surroundings while shopping and keep your property on your person. On January 25, 2024 at approximately 12:05 p.m., Haldimand OPP received a report of a theft at a business on Argyle Street, Caledonia.
The investigation determined that a customer was shopping when a male approached asking questions about products nearby. While distracting the customer, another male approached and removed a purse from the customer’s shopping cart. The two males proceeded to leave the store and flee in a white coloured van. Police are reviewing video surveillance in hopes to identify the individuals responsible.
