HALDIMAND—On April 4, 2022 at 7:14 p.m., Haldimand OPP, Fire Services, and Emergency Services responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Haldimand Road 3.
The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for assessment.
As a result of the investigation, a 60-year-old of Simcoe was charged with Operation while Prohibited under the Criminal Code and Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
The driver’s licence was seized and the vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
