Driver charged in single-vehicle collision

CREDIT—On October 10, 2021 at 9:11 a.m., Haldimand OPP responded to the intersection of Ojibway Road and Mississauga Road in Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation for the report of a single-vehicle collision rollover.

While speaking with the driver, signs of impairment were detected. The individual was transported to the Cayuga detachment for additional testing.

As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old of Haldimand County is charged with Driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charge.
