DUNNVILLE—Haldimand OPP has charged a 34-year-old individual with drug possession following a traffic stop on Port Maitland Road in Dunnville.
On Monday, March 15, 2021 at 9:50 p.m. OPP responded to the Dunnville area to assist Hamilton Police Service in locating an individual facing charges in their jurisdiction.
OPP located the individual travelling in a vehicle on Port Maitland Road, where they investigated.
The individual was taken into custody and during a search, a quantity of illicit drugs was located.
OPP has charged a 34-year-old of Hamilton with Possession of a schedule I substance (3 counts).
The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
Custody of the accused was turned over to Hamilton Police Service.
