WALPOLE—Haldimand OPP, Fire Services, and Emergency Services responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Concession 15 and Indian Line in Walpole at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021.
The collision involved a motor scooter that was carrying two people. One person was transported to hospital with serious injuries, while the other was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
As a result, the OPP has charged a 66-year-old of Hagersville with:
- Driving Motor Vehicle While Suspended (two counts),
- Drive Motor Vehicle – No Plates,
- Fail To Wear a Helmet on Motorcycle.
A 65-year-old individual from Mississauga of the Credit First Nation was charged with Fail To Wear a Helmet on Motorcycle.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
