HALDIMAND—One individual is facing several charges after a search warrant was executed at a residence.
On Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at approximately 5:18 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a Highway 3, Haldimand County address.
As a result, officers took one individual into custody and seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, ecstasy, and psilocybin (magic mushrooms), along with drug paraphernalia and Canadian currency.

Charged with the following offences is a 43-year-old of Haldimand County:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Cayuga on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
