SELKIRK—On Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at approximately 7:40 p.m., members from the Haldimand OPP responded to a report of an assault at an address on Wheeler Road in Selkirk.
As a result of the investigation, a 76-year-old from Selkirk was placed under arrest and charged under the Criminal Code for one count of assault.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on Tuesday, September 1.
The charge has not been proven in court.
