HAGERSVILLE—An individual was charged following an intimate partner violence investigation.
On Sunday, March 15, 2026 at approximately 10:55 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a disturbance on King Street, Hagersville.
The investigation determined that a physical altercation between two individuals occurred at the location.
As a result, a 25-year-old from Dunnville was arrested and charged with assault.
The charge has not been proven in court. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario court of Justice in Cayuga on a later date.
