CALEDONIA—On Saturday, December 16, 2023 at approximately 2:49 a.m., Haldimand OPP were called to investigate a motor vehicle at a business located on 3rd Line in Haldimand County.
As a result, officers took the driver of the vehicle into custody without incident. Prior to police arrival, it was determined that the driver also damaged items on the property.
Charged with the following offences is a 20-year-old of Ohsweken:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
- Mischief – interfere with lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property over $5,000, and
- Driving while under suspension.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Cayuga at later date.
