DUNNVILLE—On Sunday, July 10, 2022, at 9:20 a.m. Haldimand OPP attended a local hospital in response to a report of an assault that had occurred at a residence on Main Street East in Dunnville the previous night between 9:30 and 10 p.m.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged a 27-year-old of Dunnville with:
- Aggravated Assault
- Assault
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
- Carry Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition in a Careless Manner
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
The accused was arrested and held for Bail Court in Cayuga.
