TOWNSEND—Members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a firearm being discharged near a facility on Town Centre Drive in Townsend.
Police received the call at 10:18 a.m. on November 17, 2023.
Officers found no one present following a search of the surrounding area.
There were no injuries and no evident property damage.
The road was closed to traffic to secure the area and facilitate the investigation but was reopened later that day.
The incident remains under investigation. Updates will be provided if more information is available.
