Police seeking break and enter suspects

CALEDONIA—On September 27, 2023, at approximately 9:45 a.m., members of the Haldimand OPP responded to a report of a break and enter at a business in a multi-use complex on Argyle Street North. Police are seeking help from the public to identify two individuals at the scene.

The two suspects are believed to have entered the back door of the business at approximately 3:45 a.m., where they stole a quantity of cash and merchandise.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 – Male, approximately 5’9” (1.75m), black reading-style glasses, wearing a blue baseball cap, a blue sweater, dark shorts with leggings underneath, blue shoes with white socks, and carrying a grey and black duffle bag.

Suspect #2 – Female, 5’6”; (1.68m), wearing a blue jean jacket, a grey sweater underneath, light blue jeans, and brown Timberland-style boots, carrying a black bag that appears to be a reusable cloth grocery bag.

Police would also like to speak to a potential eyewitness who was driving through the parking lot at approximately 4 a.m. who may have seen the suspects.
