TOWNSEND—On January 27, 2025 at approximately 12:20 p.m., Haldimand OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision on Keith Richardson Parkway, Townsend.
The investigation determined that the driver and lone occupant was treated for minor injuries. As a result, a 23-year-old of Simcoe has been charged with the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
- Having Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available
- Drive Motor Vehicle, no Currently Validated Permit
The accused is scheduled to appear in Cayuga court on March 4.
