DUNNVILLE—On February 13, 2022 at 8:56 a.m., Haldimand OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services, and Haldimand County paramedics responded to a single-vehicle collision that sent the driver to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision occurred on Kings Row Road between Myrnham Road and Marshall Road. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
Police determined that the vehicle had slid on a patch of ice and came to rest on its side in the south ditch.
No charges were laid.
The OPP is reminding drivers to be aware of icy roads and to take your time when travelling on the roadways. Be prepared for the inclement weather by leaving early for your destination. Always dress for the weather, make sure your gas tank is full, carry extra blankets, and have your cell phone fully charged.
