SELKIRK—On March 18, 2023 at approximately 8:37 p.m. Haldimand OPP responded to a report of a mischief at a Rainham Road, Selkirk address. It was determined that at approximately 4 a.m. an individual attended the residence and proceeded to smear a substance on the front door of the home as well as a vehicle that was parked in the driveway.
As a result, police charged a 49-year-old of Haldimand with mischief – obstructs, interrupts, interferes with any person in the lawful use, enjoyment, or operation of property, and two counts of fail to comply with probation order.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Cayuga at a later date.
