Suspects brandish weapon in generator theft

CAYUGA—On Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10:42 p.m., OPP responded to Ouse Street South  in Cayuga for a report of a robbery where suspects had stolen a Honda generator from a work site. OPP has determined that at approximately 10:30 p.m., two unknown male suspects attended a worksite where they disconnected and removed a Honda 6500 generator. When the victim approached the males, one of them had brandished, what appeared to be, a golf club.

The victim was not injured and the suspects fled the area in a black Chevrolet pickup truck. The pickup truck was further described as a 1999-2000 model and had “Chevrolet” in white lettering on the tail gate.
