Traffic stop leads to four facing drug charges

DUNNVILLE—Haldimand OPP has charged four individuals following a traffic stop on June 18, 2022 at 10 p.m. Police had received a traffic complaint and soon located the suspect vehicle on Rainham Road in Dunnville. A quantity of suspected Fentanyl was located in the vehicle and a quantity of suspected Methamphetamine was found on one of the individuals.

OPP has charged:

  • A 43-year-old of Dunnville with Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Other Drugs – Fentanyl, 
  • A 33-year-old of Dunnville with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance – Other Drugs – Fentanyl,
  • A 35-year-old of Dunnville with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance – Other Drugs – Fentanyl,
  • A 51-year-old, of Dunnville with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance – Other Drugs – Fentanyl and Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance – Methamphetamine.

The accused individuals are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
