Traffic stop results in multiple charges

HAGERSVILLE—­­­­Haldimand OPP conducted a vehicle stop on October 30, 2021 at 7:38 p.m. in Hagersville, after police observed a motor vehicle having two licence plates that did not match.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged a 23-year-old of Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation with: 

  • Failure to Comply with Undertaking
  • Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence
  • Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle
  • Drive Motor Vehicle – No Permit
  • Operate Motor Vehicle Without Insurance.

The accused was held for a bail hearing to answer to the charges.
