Two people face multiple charges following traffic stop

CALEDONIA—Haldimand OPP has charged a 29-year-old male and a 31-year-old female with multiple offences following a traffic stop at Haldimand Highway 54, Caledonia address.

On Friday, January 18, 2019 at 2:58 p.m., OPP were patrolling Haldimand Highway 54 when they noticed a vehicle travelling northbound above the posted 80 km/hour speed limit. At the time, the officer noticed a male driving the vehicle and a female in the passenger seat.

The officer followed the vehicle to conduct a traffic stop and noticed the vehicle was making erratic moves onto the shoulder and back onto the north bound lane.
