JARVIS—Haldimand OPP is investigating a stolen vehicle that struck the corner of a residence on Haldimand Road 55 and then fled the scene. A short time later, the vehicle was located on Concession 6 in Walpole partially engulfed in flames. Haldimand County Fire Services attended the location and extinguished the fire.
It was determined that sometime overnight on January 9, an unknown person or persons stole a 2009 beige Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck from a residence in Jarvis.
