DUNNVILLE—Last week, the Optimist Club of Dunnville held its annual “Youth Appreciation Awards” evening where five local youth were recognized. These youth demonstrated outstanding efforts in their community service work and were nominated to receive this award by their organization’s supervisor. The youth receiving the awards demonstrated a passion for the volunteer work that they were doing. In spite of the limitations imposed by COVID, they showed great flexibility and initiative in continuing to provide their service to their organization. Congratulations are extended to these outstanding youth who serve as exceptional role models.
