HALDIMAND—A spike in early-year overdose deaths has prompted Grand Erie Public Health (GEPH) to issue a regional safety warning. From January 1 to February 1, 2026, there were 10 drug-related deaths across the GEPH region, according to data reported by the Office of the Chief Coroner.
