DUNNVILLE—On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, members of the Rotary Club of Dunnville met with members of HN Pride at Central Park in Dunnville to present a cheque for $2,200. This donation will cover the cost of a cement pad that will house a rainbow bench purchased by HN Pride through various fundraising efforts. The bench was the brainchild of Ken Hancock, who founded HN Pride Day in May 2017 with Francis Porter, but sadly passed before the completion of this project. Hancock used to sit in Central Park and engage with people, so Pride HN is exploring this park as an option for the bench, but its final home has yet to be confirmed. —Haldimand Press photo by Valerie Posthumus.
