HALDIMAND—Toni Hayes Powell of Dunnville is doing her best to bring some positivity into people’s lives amid an onslaught of negativity in the news and on social media during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the CareMongering: Haldimand Ontario group on Facebook, which shares and organizes community resources during the pandemic, Hayes Powell has been posting daily Everyday Heroes.
“With all of the uncertainty in our lives right now I have noticed many that have stepped up to help in whatever way they can,” said Hayes Powell. “I post a photo of a local unsung hero every day so they can receive our thanks.”
