DUNNVILLE—As part of a Youth Appreciation project, the Optimist Club of Dunnville honored seven youth from Dunnville Secondary School, Dunnville Youth Soccer, Haldimand 4-H Association, and the Optimist Club of Dunnville for their outstanding accomplishments.
Optimist Steve Strong, Chair of Youth Appreciation, opened the evening with the following words: “Youth are often given a bad name, but that is not always true. Of course, you usually only hear the bad news. Well tonight we have good news. The best of the young people who are making a positive difference in the community. These people are our future, and we at the Optimist Club are proud of all of you for being here tonight to receive this award.”
