Registration opens for virtual job fair

HALDIMAND—An October 6, 2020 virtual job fair will give several thousand area residents a chance to ‘meet’ employers who are hiring and explore careers in the skilled trades.

The day-long Grand Erie Virtual Job Fair & Skills Exploration Event for the communities of Brantford, Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk, Six Nations, and New Credit will be held entirely online. People are required to register in advance to attend. They can register at: jobskills.vfairs.com.

Event highlights will include a talk by Mandy “Bear” Rennehan, a dynamic, internationally-known promoter of the trades known as the Blue Collar CEO. Job Talks host Jon Callegher will talk about “5 great reasons” to work in the trades.
