The Haldimand Press would like to introduce our readers to our newest team member, Nick Fearns. He has joined our editorial side of the office as a Reporter & Assistant Editor.
Fearns was born and raised in in the Niagara Region. He attended Wilfrid Laurier University and studied journalism at Niagara College in Welland. Following graduation, Fearns then followed the jobs and landed a reporter role at the Macklin Mirror in Macklin, Saskatchewan. In that role he was the only reporter in a smalltown newsroom. After several years out west, Fearns returned home and worked at Niagara This Week and briefly for Fort Erie Radio.
He is interested in sports, politics, history, and photography. When not reporting for The Haldimand Press, Fearns can be found hiking neighbourhood trails, supporting his favourite teams, and playing the guitar.
