SELKIRK—Say “hello” to the first baby born at Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) in 2023.
Little Harley was welcomed into the world on January 1, 2023 at 2:43 p.m., weighing in at eight pounds, seven ounces.
Patricia Jacysyn and Jacob Schaeffer of Selkirk are the proud parents.
The healthy baby boy was delivered by Dr. Lisa-Marie Austen, midwife Mahnaz Najafian, and our amazing team of nurses.
On November 21, 2022 NGH fully resumed labour and delivery services and has since welcomed 23 beautiful babies into the world.
In honour of the occasion, NGH presented the family and little Harley with a keepsake pewter piggy bank.
NGH extends its best wishes and congratulations to the family.
