SELKIRK—The Selkirk scarecrows that usually go up around town this time of year look a little different.

In place of the scarecrows that used to greet people along Main Street and Erie Street, there are now brightly painted signs depicting cute scarecrows with pumpkin heads in various dancelike poses.
