YORK—Seneca Central Public School hopes to better engage students this fall with a new outdoor classroom.
The outdoor classroom has been in the works for over four years and will hopefully start construction this summer.
Giancarlo Crotta, Principal, says they are in the midst of securing a contractor and hope to get started at the beginning of July in order to be done for the start of the school year in the fall. Of course, this all depends on and may be delayed by the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Students, who were told about the project around Christmas to be able to begin fundraising, “are excited about it,” said Crotta.
