Severe conditions along Lake Erie shoreline Monday causes flooding

HALDIMAND—A flood warning was issued for the Lake Erie shoreline on Monday, April 13, 2020 where a storm caused severe conditions. Wind gusts of 70 to 90 km/hr and waves as high as nine feet brought flooding and shoreline erosion.

Cottagers were encouraged to leave and return to their permanent residences and permanent residents were advised to shelter in place.
