DUNNVILLE—On June 4, 2020, frontline worker Dr. Saif Kobah was thrilled to be the first recipient of a Message of Support and will be hanging it in his office at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital (HWMH).

Kathryn Stengel, Charge Nurse at HWMH, is challenging children of all ages to show their gratitude and support to her colleague frontline workers at HWMH by creating a Message of Support.

“Not only is it a feel-good quarantine project for kids, but an opportunity to win $50 worth of art supplies for every entry,” said Stengel.

Pictures or letters can be sent to her address (611 Alder Street West, Dunnville, ON, N1A 1S4) and she will personally deliver them to frontline workers at HWMH.

“It would be awesome if I could give one to every frontline worker!” she said, adding that she is encouraging schools to participate. “Our frontline workers would love to hear from you as it will brighten their day!”

Deadline to submit a Message of Support is June 29, 2020. Include the child’s name and contact information.
