CALEDONIA—Following their first pierogi-making event since before the pandemic, members of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Caledonia have successfully raised $3,000 in funding to help Ukrainian immigrants settling locally.
The effort was spearheaded by the church committee ‘Friends of the Church’. Together, they made a whopping 300 dozen pierogis over a marathon two-day session.
