Certain lakeshore area roads to see speed reductions
HALDIMAND—In July 2019, Haldimand Council directed staff to report back regarding the possibility of enacting a countywide 40km/h speed limit within all urban areas. A public survey yielding over 1,100 responses from residents weighing in on the topic showed support was split for the reduced limit, with the greatest support seen along the lake.
