DUNNVILLE—Every May long weekend, the No. 6 RCAF Dunnville Museum holds its annual giant yard sale. The event is often referred to as the hanger sale, since it takes place in Hangar #1.
By 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, May 17, 2025, it was estimated that more than 200 people were lined up for the 8 a.m. start. Volunteers of the event estimated that more than 1,000 people shopped on Saturday alone. The event ran from May 17 to 19; the final tally of funds raised was about $11,000.

“We wish to thank the supporters who donated all the items and the many hundreds who came out to shop; we can only operate and grow with the support of our community,” said organizer Sandra Murphy.
