TOWNSEND—The Townsend Lions hosted its fourth annual Barbecue Chicken Dinner on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Approximately 125 people came out to pick up a half chicken dinner with coleslaw, baked potato, bun, and water included. Limited seating was available for those wanting to dig into their dinner right away, while others brought it home to enjoy. Funds raised will be used by the Lions to support others, although the charity had not been chosen as of press time.
