Townsend skatepark closed by Haldimand County

TOWNSEND—A 15-year-old skatepark located at Townsend Lions Park has been closed by Haldimand County, with staff citing the aging equipment as a safety concern.

“The County has deemed the equipment unsafe and will be removing it for the safety of the public,” said Marv Fehrman, President of the Townsend Lions Club.
