FISHERVILLE—After all the fundraising, the youth from Trinity Lutheran Church in Fisherville headed to beautiful British Columbia (BC) on July 4, 2019.
With a couple of flight delays, the kids and their chaperones enjoyed an uneventful, but long, flight to join other youth from all over Canada (and beyond) for four days of bible study, sightseeing, making friends, and having fun. The theme of the retreat was “Worthless – there is nothing that you are worth less than. Romans 5:8”; the kids learned about their worth (and others) in Christ.
Trinity youth’s fundraising efforts financed almost 90% of the trip. Good job, everyone.
