DUNNVILLE—Approximately 80 people showed up to celebrate True Experience’s 40th anniversary on Friday, July 8, 2022. Community members and representatives from local organizations were happy to connect and celebrate together. Among them were staff from Dunnville’s Salvation Army and Executive Director Penny Banks from the Dunnville Hospital  and Healthcare Foundation. MPP Bobbi Ann Brady and Councillor Bernie Corbett thanked True Experience’s staff and volunteers for their work in the community. haron Arnold and Joanne VanRavenswaay proudly showed off the newly-renovated kitchen at True Experience, which will host the True Pantry program. The brainchild of Arnold, the program will provide free instruction for marginalized community members on how to prepare nutritious meals. VanRavenswaay will run the program, in hopes that participants will feel well, which will promote them do better in life. The program will also provide safe food handling certification to participants.
