Tutor program coming to Jarvis

To The Haldimand Press

JARVIS—King Solomon Masonic Lodge 329 Jarvis is very proud and excited to announce the launch of their Masonic Tutor Program, available to children in grades 2 to 4 who seem to be struggling with the primary subjects of math and English.

The lodge members decided to investigate the possibility of hiring qualified tutors to assist local children after concerns arose that too many children are falling below the academic standards.

The Haldimand County Public Library is partnering with the lodge for this program by offering space at no cost. Their support will go a long way to ensure the safety of the children and the success of the tutor program.

The program is fully supported by Jarvis Public School, who will work to identify those children who could be helped by this remedial tutoring.
