CAYUGA—A proposed amendment to the County’s Official Plan that would see an outdoor patio and an inn added to Twisted Lemon restaurant in Cayuga was met with contention in a lengthy debate last week at Council.
The debate was not over the addition of the patio or inn, both of which received support from staff and councillors, but whether the property would be deemed residential with exceptions, as County staff recommended in their report, or commercial, as desired by the proponents.
