DUNNVILLE—Bethany United Church hosted ‘On the Wagon Wheel Quartet’ on September 20, 2023 with about 50 people attending. Rev. Dianne Everitt said, “It was a wonderful evening of great music, good humour, exceptional talent, and delicious refreshments.” There was no charge to attend, although many offered donations to the church. Everitt hopes this is the first of many visits from the group: “We were all amazed at the breadth of music this group could play, and they sounded amazing; they’ve been playing together for many years and their camaraderie is very evident.” The group consists of Jack Glaves (alto voice, tenor sax, trombone), Bob Ronald (bass voice, guitar, trumpet), Weldon Waterworth (lead voice, bass guitar), Earl Stadder (piano), and Orland Houser (tenor voice).
