HALDIMAND—A series of how-to videos have been released to help residents use the popular Grand Erie Jobs job search site.
The Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie has created nine short videos that walk people through how to use its online job seeker and employer tools.
“We want to make it as easy as possible for people to use Grand Erie Jobs and find their future,” said Danette Dalton, the board’s executive director. “This is a good time for residents to search for work, explore a career change or boost their skills, as many businesses have openings and are eager to hire.”
Dalton said the employer tools may help businesses better understand the local labour market, find data, and target recruitment campaigns. Meanwhile, in addition to listing job openings, the job seeker tools provide unique local information about in- demand occupations, wages, and businesses that hire in each industry.
The videos can be found on the board’s website – workforceplanningboard.org – and on its YouTube channel. Grand Erie Jobs covers Brantford, Six Nations, New Credit, Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk.
