HAGERSVILLE—The West Haldimand Hospital and Healthcare Foundation’s (WHHHF) second annual Charity Golf Classic was a major success, raising over $60,000 for the West Haldimand General Hospital (WHGH).

During the Golf Classic held on September 12 at the MontHill Golf and Country Club, participants enjoyed delicious food and drinks and took part in some fun activities along the way. There were also some amazing prizes awarded, including over 60 silent auction items. The prize draws were awarded during the banquet, where a delicious dinner was served to end the great day.

Funds raised from this event will help the Foundation improve the care and services offered by WHGH. It will allow the hospital to acquire state-of-the-art equipment needed to provide services for our growing region. This will enable access to high-quality care, close to home.

“We are so very grateful to our generous sponsors and donors, all of the golfers, and many of our wonderful volunteers,” said Lisa Hostein, Executive Director of the Foundation. “Your generosity has made such a differece for patients at WHGH. I am completely blown away by the support of our great community.”
