DUNNVILLE—A helping hand has reached out to Dunnville from across the world to provide masks, all in thanks for a good deed from almost 12 years ago.
In May 2008 a magnitude 8.0 earthquake hit Wenchuan County in Sichuan Province, China.
Several counties near the epicenter were destroyed, resulting in heavy loss of life and property damage. At that time, Dunnville had more than 100 students from that area living here to learn English and to take flying lessons at the Maylan Flight Academy out at the RCAF #6 Dunnville Airport.
