CALEDONIA — Ian Thompson, Manager of the Caledonia Fair, has been getting a lot of phone calls lately with a similar question: “Is the fair running this year?” Happily, he has an answer now as Step 3 of the Province of Ontario’s reopening plan includes provisions for the opening of fairs and festivals.

“Right now, the regulations in place for Stage 3 mean we will be able to run a mostly normal fair,” says Thompson. “As long as vaccination rates continue to climb and infection rates decline, we are optimistic that the fair may be close to business as usual.”
