CALEDONIA—On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the second annual Forest Kids Young Entrepreneurs Market took place on McClung Road in Caledonia. Young participants showcased their skills at the outdoor market, where the rain, thankfully, held off.
Eleven young vendors were on hand, each presenting their own handmade wares.
CALEDONIA—On Saturday, November 15, 2025, Grace (12), Jerry (9), and Nathan Debruin of “Holiday Haven” were among the 11 young vendors at the second annual Forest Kids Young Entrepreneurs Market on McClung Road, selling cookies, soups, and hot chocolate in a jar while learning to create, price, and promote their handmade products.
CALEDONIA—Caleb Fennema (7 years), Eli Fennema (5 years), Grace Fennema (3 years) selling Christmas Tree Ornaments and Mason Jar Ornaments.
CALEDONIA—Jayden Forestieri (10 years) has a business name “Reptilisious” selling books he has written, wood for reptile tanks, and fire starters.
CALEDONIA—Mathius Prakash (10 years) and Keanu Prakash (8 years) promoting paintings made by a racehorse, soaps, fudge, and mushroom cupcakes.
CALEDONIA—Kieran Forestieri (5 years) selling books and necklaces.
CALEDONIA— Leah Phillips (8 years) selling her pens under the name “Leah’s Pens”.
CALEDONIA—Merzaqa Belhouchet (10 years) is promoting the two books that she has written, “Sahara Desert with Cats” and “Camping with the Cats”.

The kids start with an idea, create it, set a fair price, and learn how to talk to customers about the products they’ve developed.
On display were books, cookies, toys, soaps, and more, and there was a steady flow of customers throughout the two-hour event.
