DUNNVILLE—The Dunnville Youth Impact Centre kicked off their spring fundraising with a Run/Walk/Scoot event on May 12, 2023. Local youth made their way around a 2.5km loop throughout the town, all dressed up in green together, and then gathered for a celebratory barbecue and prizes donated by local businesses.
The funds raised will support after-school programs, including suppers for kids, one-on-one mentoring, youth outings, snacks for students, games and activities, and providing a safe space for students to connect with each other and the centre’s staff and volunteers.
The centre is also involved in the regular community dinners provided by local churches which are open to the entire community, with the youth assisting with serving and clean up.
