CAYUGA—Demolition of the old Cayuga library and fire hall buildings at the Village Green began November 25, 2019.
The demolition is expected to take approximately four weeks, dependent on weather.
“The land on both the old fire hall and library sites will be repurposed into community space,” said Kyra Hayes, Supervisor of Corporate Affairs at Haldimand County. “Since late spring 2019, landscape architecture and planning firm Stempski Kelly Associates Inc. has been facilitating community engagement activities to collect ideas from residents to help establish a community-driven vision for the Cayuga parks system.”
