I recently made these peanut butter balls and they were really good. They are easy to make and would be a great addition to a Christmas treat tray. You could use chocolate squares or chocolate chips for dipping them.
I found this recipe for slow cooker drumsticks in an old Taste of Home magazine and made it this week. It is really simple to make and really delicious. They can be served with rice or even just a nice tossed salad. When I made them I used the maple syrup, but I am sure they would be equally as good with honey. I also used the apple cider instead of apple juice. I am not crazy about chicken skin, so I simply pulled the skin off of each leg before putting them into the crock pot.
I have only cooked quinoa a couple of times and wasn’t crazy about it but saw this recipe and thought I would give it a try. It turned out really well and I would definitely make it again. I used an orange pepper and added an extra green onion to the mixture. Be sure to chop the broccoli into small pieces before cooking it.
Bacon Gouda Crisps recipe is from a grocery store flyer and they, too, make a great little appetizer. I used a Tbsp. of maple syrup instead of the bacon fat.
